Lynn M. Janeway created the firm in 2004 and is the majority shareholder of the firm. She has represented lenders in the foreclosure, bankruptcy, collection and related default areas since 1985, and has been responsible for managing well over 70,000 foreclosures/bankruptcy files during that time. Ms. Janeway was recognized as a Top 25 Women of Law by DS News and has been a speaker on the topics of foreclosure and bankruptcy at seminars hosted by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court (Chapter 13 Trustee’s Office), Attorney’s Title Guaranty Fund, and Continuing Legal Education sponsors. The application of Ms. Janeway’s legal knowledge and operational skills results in a firm that provides the highest quality legal representation alongside efficient and compliant default services. Ms. Janeway’s introduction to mortgage banking came when she was hired as summer help by her father’s mortgage company to work in the collections and assumptions departments. During law school, Ms. Janeway law clerked for an Illinois foreclosure firm, and upon graduation in 1985, moved to Colorado to work for its related firm. From 1985 until 1990 she was employed by Codilis & Stawiarski, P.C., and was actively involved in all aspects of the foreclosure and bankruptcy files, including frequent court appearances and HUD and VA conveyance issues during this high-volume period in Colorado’s history. She then joined Shapiro & Meinhold (a LOGS partnership) to manage its downtown-Denver office in 1990. She stayed as Managing Attorney until she joined Castle & Castle in 1994. When the Colorado Codilis & Stawiarski office consolidated with the Colorado Shapiro & Meinhold office in 1995, Ms. Janeway was hired as Managing Attorney for this consolidated firm. As Managing Attorney of Meinhold, Stawiarski, Shapiro & Codilis, she was responsible for, and personally managed, every detail of the foreclosure and bankruptcy processes, the internal systems, and staff. She directed all operational and legal decisions and assured that clients’ timeframes and service needs were met. This firm then consolidated with The Castle Law Firm in 2003. Ms. Janeway left in 2004 to create Janeway Law Firm, P.C. as a woman-owned small business. Janeway Law Firm, P.C. joined the LOGS legal network in 2013, but remains a woman-owned small business. Education: Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Juris Doctor. from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana Bar Admissions: Ms. Janeway has an active law license in Colorado and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. She has also been admitted to practice law in California, Illinois, Texas, Arizona, and Wyoming where she currently maintains inactive licenses. Lynn M. Kelly Sutherland, Esq. received his Juris Doctorate from Lewis and Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon. He was admitted to the Oregon State Bar in 1987 and the Washington State Bar in 1992, and quickly developed his real estate expertise as an associate with a real estate litigation firm. Kelly joined the firm in 1989 and has since concentrated his legal practice to lender representation and related issues. Kelly has served as Managing Attorney of the firm since 2004. In this role, he directs all aspects of the day-to-day legal and business affairs of the law firm for the Oregon and Washington law firm operations. Washington & Oregon Leadership
